Post-BREXIT EU Customs Guidelines - 1st July 2021

In light of the new Customs arrangements with the EU effective from July 1st, 2021, all orders dispatched outside the UK, including Ireland, will be subject to custom fees at the final destination.

Custom Charges Overview:
Applicability: As of July 1st, 2021, ALL goods exported from the UK to the EU will be subject to Local Customs Duties and VAT where applicable.

Calculation: Customs charges are determined by the destination country and are beyond our control. They are calculated based on the total value of goods, including delivery.

Process:
Payment Requirement: Before goods are delivered, customers are required to pay any customs charges imposed by their country's customs authorities.

Notification: Couriers or postal providers will contact customers via email or post to communicate the charges and release the goods upon payment.

Release: Goods will only be released for delivery once the customs charges are paid.

Processing Time:
Variable: The time for customs offices and courier services to process goods varies.

Delivery Aims: Delivery aims provided for goods traveling outside the UK consider the time to reach the destination but do not account for customs clearance time.

Courier Choice: DPD is used for deliveries to Europe, processing customs elements promptly upon order placement.

Refusal of Charges:
Option: Customers have the choice to refuse delivery if unwilling to pay customs charges.

Return Process: Returned goods will be refunded (minus postage costs) upon arrival back to the seller. Return duration is beyond the seller's control.

Additional Guidance:
Charge Estimation: Customers are advised to contact local government customs authorities to understand potential charges as each country has its own calculations.

Refund Policy: Refunds for postage will not be issued for undelivered goods due to unpaid customs duties.

Delivery Timeframe: Expect additional time for goods to reach Europe (including Ireland).

Customs Inspection: Customs in the destination country may open and inspect packages.
